Overlooking the charming town of Schladming, The Alpine Club is a superb place to visit at any time of the year.
Built in traditional Alpine style with pine-furnished accommodations, this family resort has its own leisure center and restaurant. In the colder months, members have access to winter sports of every kind, while in spring and summer, when the lakes, valleys and meadows are ablaze with wild flowers, the countryside is a breathtaking place to explore.

Alternate Directions (Public transport from Salzburg airport) Take the local bus, line no. 2 to the train station Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. Buses operate from approx. 5:30 until 20:00 every 10 minutes, from 20:00 until 23:00 every 20 minutes. Plan subject to change seasonal. For exact plan please look at www.stadtbus.at. Price per person Euro 2.00 at the moment. At Salzburg Hauptbahnhof take the train to Schladming. There are direct and non-direct (change in Bischofshofen) available. For exact train timetables and prices please look under www.oebb.at (please seacrh for 1+ ticket - cheaper rates as more persons are travelling). From train station Schladming take a taxi up to the resort as it is difficult to walk up hill with luggage. If there is no taxi available, please contact the resort directly under ++43 (0) 3687 61215-0 and we will arrange a taxi to pick you up (charge). Taxi rates are during the day (6:00-21:00) Euro 6.00 up to 4 persons, during the night (21:00 - 6:00) Euro 10.00 up to 4 persons.
Driving: (From Salzburg airport) Take the A10 motorway towards Graz/Villach. Leave the A10 at exit 63 (after 57) marked Radstadt/Altenmarkt/Graz, B 320. Continue until Radstadt and turn right for Graz. After about 20km turn right for Schladming West. At the roundabout, turn right heading towards Rohrmoos. Alpine Club is 1km up the hill on the left hand side. The travel time should not take more than 60 minutes depending on traffic flow. In winter, winter tyres and possibly snow chains will be necessary. When driving on the motorway in Austria you must display a Vignette. These are provided with Austrian hire cars but are available from petrol stations.
