Alternate Directions From the port of Mahon: Turn right out of the port and continue along this road to the end until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit (signposted to “Fornells”) and continue along this road (Me-7) for approx. 14km. You will then pass a petrol station on your right hand-side and just 2km further on you arrive at next roundabout, take the first exit right towards Addaia, Na Macaret & Arenal d’en Castell. Stay on this road until the next roundabout; take the third exit signposted Coves Noves and Arenal d’en Castell. Continue to crossroads and turn left up the hill signposted to White Sands or blue sign Playa”, follow this road around the bay of Arenal passing Restaurant Alcalde, at the fork in the road continue down the hill to the right and follow this road until your reach the White Sands Beach Club reception sign located on your right hand side. From the Port of Ciutadella: There is only one exit road from the port and you should follow the signs to “Mao” leading you uphill.

Driving: From the port of Ciutadella: There is only one exit road from the port and you should follow the signs to "Mao" leading you uphill to a crossroads where you must turn left on to the "Cami de sa Farola". Take the next right onto the "Ronda Nord". Continue along this road following the signs to "Mao" at each roundabout. This will take you to the ME-1 which is the main road running from Ciutadella to Mao. Tkae the ME-1 in the direction of "Mao" for approx 20kms until your reach the town of "Es Mercadal" in the centre of the island. Continue along the ME-1 until you have just passed the town on your left hand side. Turn left at the roundabout with an antique steam roller in the centre, following the signs towards "Fornells". Continue along this road going straight over at the next roundabout. Take the first exit at the next roundabout following the signpost to "Fornells" along the ME-15. Continue along the ME-15 and after approx 5kms you will see a road on the right hand side signposted "Mao", "Son Parc", "Na Macaret", "Addaia" and "Arenal d'en Castell". Turn right onto this road (ME-7) and continue approx 11kms until you arrive at the next roundabout where you should take the third exit towards "Addaia", "Na Macaret" & "Arenal d’en Castell". Continue along this road until the next roundabout; take the third exit signposted "Coves Noves" and "Arenal d’en Castell". Continue to the crossroads and turn left up the hill following either a signpost stating White Sands or a blue sign marked PLAYA. Follow this road around the bay until you see the resort on the right.
