Located in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, close to the tranquil Lake Schliersee, AlpenClub Schliersee is blessed with some of the most stunning mountain scenery.

The resort itself has many recreational amenities, a fine restaurant and an excellent bar, while the accommodations are of a superior standard. The surrounding area offers year-round attractions and just five miles away, the unspoiled mountain lake area of Spitzingsee is a skier’s paradise.

But no stay would be complete without a day trip to Munich, where, if you head there toward the end of autumn, you might just catch the world-famous Oktoberfest!
