The resort is built on varying levels, although most of the facilities are on the lowest and flattest level, this resort cannot be recommended for guests with walking difficulties.

Activities and Excursions
The resort is in the middle of wine country, so be sure to book a farm trip – there are many to choose from. You are also in the heart of a great hiking area. There are golf courses in Montagu and Robertson nearby. Must do things include: visit Avalon Springs – these vary from 30C to 43C every day and supply the pools and spas of the resort; visit Montagu nearby with its thatched homes, wonderful roses blooming in October and Montagu Museum detailing the history of the area; attend the Montagu Rose Show at the end of October; visit the local arts and crafts centres; go on a brandy distillery tour in Robertson at the famous Klipdrift distillery.
