Directions

Driving: (From Shannon Airport) Watch for and follow signs for the N18 (Ennis and Galway). This will put you on to the N18 dual carriageway. You will pass turnoffs for Newmarket on Fergus, Quin and Ennis and will eventually see a turnoff for the R352, which will be signed R352 for Tulla, and Scarriff. Take this exit and turn to the right back over the motorway.

The turnoff for Dangan Lodge Cottages is 10kms from the overpass of motorway. Count on your speedometer as you pass over motorway for the next 10kms. You will pass a Top petrol station on the left at 5.1kms and Norrie Henchies pub on left at 6.6kms then you turn right at 10kms. At this turn, there are brown fingerpost signs for Craggaunowen, Gorteen Farmhouse and the East Clare Way. You are now 2.8 kms from the cottages. Stay left at the first V junction you come to and stay right where there is a left turn further on, pass Gorteen farmhouse entrance on left and the next white farmhouse then we are the next on the right.

Directions to resort: Take the M50 then the N7 for Limerick. You will be on dual carriageway for over 50 miles then onto single lane highway. Staying on the N7 you will bypass Nenagh to your right, after another couple of miles pay attention to a sign for Killaloe turning to the right. Take that road for 3 miles until you reach the towns of Ballina and Killaloe (Ballina is on the Tipperary side of the Shannon and Killaloe is on the Clare side!)

Go across the single lane bridge over the river Shannon and immediately turn right, then follow the road beside the lake up to Tuamgraney (7 miles approx). When you reach a yield right of way sign in Tuamgraney turn left onto the Ennis road R352.

Pass through a small village called Bodyke and about 5 miles further on you will begin to see signs to the right for Tulla, stay on the main road for Ennis - even when you can see the town on the hill to the right. The road will widen out and you will see an old fashioned garage to your right called Kelleh
