Please Note: There are many decking style steps up to the chalets (approx. 30). The resort will help with luggage. The units have one double bedroom and one twin both en suite (please advise the resort if you wish to have the second bedroom configured with a double bed). The bed in the lounge is a pull down bed from the wall (queen size sleeper couch). All units have a balcony with views of the valley and a newly installed outside Jacuzzi. All units have a full kitchen, although no laundry facilities. Bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion) are provided.

Directions to Resort: This resort is a 2.5 hour drive from Cape Town International Airport. There are lots of places to stop along the way. The directions provided are partially on a toll road, therefore do exchange for some local currency prior to setting off. The toll is not high, but easier if you pay by Rand.

The resort has two restaurants providing al la carte meals and light snacks of an international flavour. 24 hour room service is also available as well as take aways, in addition to BBQ and picnic facilities. There are three bars: One large pool bar, with the two others in the restaurant areas in the main resort building.

|Prior to checking in: The resort is built on varying levels, although most of the facilities are on the lowest and flattest level, this resort cannot be recommended for guests with walking difficulties. Advise your credit card company that you are travelling to South Africa and to expect transactions from this location – some credit card companies may block your card after the first transaction as a protection from fraud if you do not let them know. The weather is similar to the south of France – mild winters (never below zero during the day) and hot summers (Feb – March) Beware of the baboons when you are driving – these local animals can sometimes obstruct the highways and be a nuisance – please do not feed them if you stop as they can occasionally become aggressive.|
