Blue Mountain is Ontario's largest mountain resort – just ninety minutes outside of Toronto. A magical wonderland in the winter and a recreational haven in the summer, Blue Mountain is Ontario's new cottage country. Blue Mountain is your quiet escape from the hustle of city life. Large porches and inviting hammocks, deep soaker tubs and large harvest kitchen tables make this location the perfect destination to reconnect with family and friends. This destination is clustered around a traditional mill pond and boathouse, all designed to recreate traditional family cottages. At the heart is The Lodge, a charming and intimate inn with a gathering place on the main floor, encouraging guests to mingle and share stories over coffee and in front of the large stone fireplace.

All buildings are set up with only one room size in each building. Directions to Resort: Leaving airport, follow Hwy 400 North to Barrie. Take exit 96B for Dunlop Street W toward Angus (in Barrie). Turn right onto Ferndale Dr N. Continue onto Wilson Dr/Country Rd 53. Turn left onto ON-26 W. Turn right onto Simcoe County Rd 7 (signs for County Road 7). Turn left onto Nottawasaga 27/28 Sideroad/County Rd 96. Turn right onto ON-26 W. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto ON-26. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on ON-26. Turn right onto Pretty River Pkwy/ON-26 W. Continue straight onto First St Ext. First St Ext becomes Mountain Rd. Continue onto Grey County Rd 19. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Grey County Rd 19. Turn left onto Jozo Weizer Blvd. The resort is on your right.

The nationally ranked Monterra Golf Course, designed by Thomas McBroom, is in the heart of Blue Mountain Resort. The course is as beautiful as it is challenging and has the distinction of being certified by the Audubon Society.

Niagara Escarpment (250 m)
Designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, the Niagara Escarpment stretches from New York State, through Blue Mountain Resort and its surrounding areas. Smart AlertExterior Painting Around The Resort

Please be advised that there will be several exterior painting projects executed at our resort this spring and fall. Exterior painting will be completed nearby or adjacent to guest accommodation. During these projects our guests may experience some noise, smell paint and may see construction workers/equipment starting May 3rd until May 28th, 2021 and in the fall season starting Sept. 20th until Oct 15th 2021. Exterior painting will only take place Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 7pm.

CANADA (Countrywide): Effective immediately and until further notice, Federal gov’t. mandates every person who enters Canada must self-quarantine for 14 days. During the 14-day quarantine period, the same person must wear a face covering. Effective immediately and until further notice: Foreign nationals are prohibited from entering Canada if they arrive from a foreign country other than the United States. The land border restriction prohibiting non-essential travel across the Canada-US border is still in effect and until further notice. Please note, due to current Ontario provincial COVID 19 restrictions in effect April 8, 2021 at 12:01am we will be closing all guest amenities. The closure of amenities will remain in effect until at least May 7th, 2021. Closure dates subject to change and extension past the original May 7 expiration may occur without advance notice. The access to all guest amenities : Boathouse Lounge/Change rooms/Washrooms, Hot Tubs, Fitness Room, Theatre, Pools, BBQs and The Arcade room will remain closed until further notice. Start your day with breakfast in bed! During the weekdays, order our Breakfast Basket from Member Reception the day before and have breakfast delivered to your Vacation Home between 8 am and 9:30 am. We offer egg entrées, waffles, cereals, fruit, juices, and a variety of hot beverages; all for you to heat & serve in the comfort of your Vacation Home.

On the weekends, we serve a deluxe continental breakfast in the Great Room of the Lodge between 8 am and 11 am. Indulge in waffles and maple syrup, baked goods, fruit, yogurt, home-made granola and more. For those who would like a heartier meal, we offer a daily hot egg entrée with bacon or sausages. Your children will be happy to find Froot Loops, apple juice and hot chocolate. And for those with dietary restrictions, we offer gluten-free cereal, bread and waffles and almond milk. Join us on the weekend, in our comfortable café lounge with the large stone fireplace.

You Need To Know
Prior to checking in: Smoking Policy: All guest suites are non-smoking. Smoking products of any kind, including, but not limited to, any electronic smoking devices, are not permitted. Please understand that you will be charged a cleaning fine of $500 as a result of any damage caused by smoking inside guest suites.
When checking in:


- Please note: For the safety and security of all guests, photo identification (government issued that matches guest name) and a credit card for preauthorization ($200 CAD) are required as part of the check in process. Debit cards (even Mastercard or Visa) and cash are not currently accepted.
- A resort fee of $22.95 CAD plus tax per night will be added to the reservation if the owner or member of THE Club® is checking in on a rental reservation.
Day Use
Facilities are available for day use purchase. If you are not staying at the resort, but are interested in using the facilities, please contact Reception the morning of the day you would like to request use. If available and after paying the current day use fee, you and up to five others may take advantage of the common area facilities for the day. Reception will provide you with the current day use fee. Day use is subject to availability and based upon management's discretion. This privilege is for Embarc members only.
Drone Rules
As per Transport Canada and FAA regulations, and to protect the safety and privacy of our members, owners, guests and team members, the operation of unmanned aerial systems and/or drones is prohibited by the general public, including recreational users and hobbyists. These devices may not be launched or operated from any Embarc property. If launched from outside of the resort property, the devices are prohibited from flying over and/or into the resort property boundaries. Transport Canada Regulations: Drones are prohibited from flying closer than 30 meters from people, animals, buildings, structures, or vehicles if they weigh over 250g up to 1kg and 76 meters if they weigh over 1kg up to 35kg. FAA Regulations: Any authorized operation of drones must be in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and US Forest Service rules, as well as those policies separately established by the Resort. These authorizations, regulations and rules generally require an application to the FAA, certification, training, various restrictions, safety and national security clearances, and a specific limited purpose, as well as insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers and releases of liability.
