Directions to resort: Leaving airport, continue straight on Grant McConachie Way East. Continue onto Arthur Laing Bridge/Marine Drive SW. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Marine Drive E and merge onto SW Marine Dr. Turn left onto Cambie St. Stay on Cambie St (taking Cambie Street Bridge) which becomes Smithe St.
Turn right on Seymour St. Turn left on Georgia St. Follow Georgia St through Stanley Park and over Lions Gate Bridge. Take left lane coming off Lions Gate Bridge. Follow signs for BC-99 North. Turn right onto Taylor Way. Turn left toward Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-99 N (Horseshoe Bay/Squamish/Whistler). Continue on BC-99 N to Whistler Resort.
Turn right on Lorimer Road. Turn right on Blackcomb Way. The resort is on your left.

The main attraction at this resort is the mountains, offering more than 8100 skiable acres, one vertical mile, more than 200 trails, three glaciers, 33 lifts and twelve alpine bowls. The Peak 2 Peak Gondola, measuring 4.4 km, connects the tops of both mountains and holds the world record for the longest free span between ropeway towers (3.03 km) and the highest point above ground (436 m).

Excursions - Bentley Tours (www.bentleytours.ca) is a luxury Vancouver to Whistler sightseeing transportation company offering daily trips from downtown Vancouver, leaving at 8:30 am with the return trip leaving Whistler at 5 pm. The three hour trip includes eight scenic stops and a narrated tour, and includes hotel pick up and drop off either the same day, or, if you choose to spend a night or more in Whistler, pickup on a different day at no additional cost. Smart AlertK-9 Inspection

Throughout 2018 - A specialized trained dog with a handler will inspect the Resort to ensure we maintain a pest-free environment. While this is not an everyday inspection, your cooperation will be requested to provide them with access to occupied Vacation Homes, for approximately 5 minutes shall you happen to stay with us at the time we conduct these inspections.

Whistler is a vibrant resort that hosts world-class events and festivals year-round. Some of these events have a significant impact on traffic and noise levels. We encourage you to check scheduled traffic delays prior to arrival. A comprehensive list of these events and festivals can be found at https://www.whistler.ca/events.

Smart AlertA/C & Fireplace in Vacation Homes

March 22, 2018 – December 21, 2018 we will conduct preventive maintenance in A/C units and fireplaces when Vacation Homes are vacant, we might need to access occupied Vacation Homes due to high occupancy and limited time window. Your cooperation might be requested to provide us with access to your Vacation Home for approximately 20 minutes during your stay. Member Reception will communicate this request on your arrival and/or during your stay shall it becomes necessary.

Public Areas & Vacation Home upgrades May 1st to June 8 and October 1st to November 23, 2019

Sections of hallway will be closed to conduct public areas and Vacation Home upgrades in periods of 7 to 10 days at a time. Expect alternative routes to be marked within the Resort hallways; in some cases you might need to walk up or down one level of stairs or be diverted to an elevator away to/from your Vacation Home.

Dryer Vent Cleaning June 3 to June 7, 2019

During this period, our Technicians will need to access occupied Vacation Homes for approximately 5 minutes between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Upon checking in, you will be informed which day we will need to access your Vacation Home. Moderate noise is expected during this process.

Mountain Beach Closure (access to Families to Mountain Retreat) April 29 to May 10, 2019

The Mountain Beach family environment, including BBQs, waterslide, pool and hot tub, will be closed for annual maintenance. Families and kids will be welcomed to use the pool and hot tub at the Mountain Retreat adult environment. We regret that Day Passes will not be available during these dates.

Decks Renovation April 29 to June 22, 2019

Some Vacation Home decks are being renovated. This work is expected to cause moderate construction-like noise during working hours from 9am to 6pm. Members might experience noise and dust in the pool areas. Work is weather dependent and dates are subject to change or extension.

Mountain Retreat & Steam Room Closure May 13 to May 18, 2019

The Mountain Retreat adult environment pool, hot tubs and steam room will be closed for annual maintenance. Please note that the Mountain Beach family environment pool and hot tub will remain open and accessible to all Members. We regret that Day Passes will not be available during these dates.

Exterior Window Washing June through July, 2019

Subject to weather conditions, we will be conducting the exterior window washing on days without rain. Access to Vacation Home balconies from the outside will be required between 10am and 5pm for approximately 10 minutes per balcony. Members will be informed on a day-to-day basis, so you can exercise privacy by closing the blinds as Vacation Home windows are washed. Work will be conducted between 9am to 5pm.

You Need To Know
Prior to checking in: Please note: For the safety and security of all guests, photo identification and a credit card for preauthorization are required as part of the check in process. Day Use Facilities are available for day use purchase. If you are not staying at the resort, but are interested in using the facilities, please contact Reception the morning of the day you would like to request use. If available and after paying the current day use fee, you and up to five others may take advantage of the common area facilities for the day. Reception will provide you with the current day use fee. Day use is subject to availability and based upon management's discretion. Drone Rules As per Transport Canada and FAA regulations, and to protect the safety and privacy of our members, owners, guests and team members, the operation of unmanned aerial systems and/or drones is prohibited by the general public, including recreational users and hobbyists. These devices may not be launched or operated from any Embarc property. If launched from outside of the resort property, the devices are prohibited from flying over and/or into the resort property boundaries. Transport Canada Regulations: Drones are prohibited from flying closer than 30 meters from people, animals, buildings, structures, or vehicles if they weigh over 250g up to 1kg and 76 meters if they weigh over 1kg up to 35kg. FAA Regulations: Any authorized operation of drones must be in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, and US Forest Service rules, as well as those policies separately established by the Resort. These authorizations, regulations and rules generally require an application to the FAA, certification, training, various restrictions, safety and national security clearances, and a specific limited purpose, as well as insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers and releases of liability.
When checking in:
- Parking: Complimentary self-parking and is available to members and guests during their stay. An access key is provided at check-in. One parking stall is available for Studios and one-bedroom Vacation Homes, and two stalls for two-bedroom Vacation Homes.
- Parking is located underground and the garage has a maximum height is 6’9”. If you plan to bring additional and/or over-height vehicles, there are a handful of spaces on the street in front of the resort which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional pay parking is available throughout Whistler. Please note that access and restrictions apply. For more parking information check the Resort Municipality of Whistler's parking and regulations.
- Bikes are not allowed in the Vacation Homes.
