You Need To Know |
---|
When checking in: If you've experienced a holiday on board a narrowboat before then you need no persuading to try it again. However, if you're a first-timer, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to dip your toe into the world of narrowboating. Upon check-in, you will be shown the ropes by an experienced hand (at least two able-bodied adults are needed in the party) before you set off on your relaxing journey. |
Charges |
---|
Pet rules, charges and/or documentation: Pets are charged at £30 each (normally a maximum of two pets). |
Utilities: We recommend you purchase a £50 non-refundable accidental damage waiver (ADW) before you begin your journey. Please ask for details when you check-in at the marina. A fuel deposit of £90 per week is payable against the cost of diesel used. This will be offset against the actual cost of diesel used, and an appropriate refund/extra charge made. For utilities, please note that the boat starts with empty holding tank(s) which with careful use will last for a week. The cost of any additional toilet tank emptying during the week are the user’s responsibility. The water tank is full but needs topping up daily if possible. Gas is provided from bottles for which you will find safety and user instructions contained in the boats own manual. If you are on board for more than a week, the marine will explain the procedure for pumpouts and refuelling. All these expenses are subject to change without prior notice. |
