Promenade Walkway Upgrade
Upgrade to the promenade walkway will commence on June 19th, 2017 and is scheduled to last till August 1st, 2017. During this time, the old bricks on the walkway will be removed, the ground leveled and new bricks will be laid. This project will commence at the West Wing ( Canal Side) of the building and as we progress will move to the East Wing right up to the entrance of the property. You may experience moderate to minimal noise disruption during this project. We sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Wi-Fi/ INTERNET INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE
Work to upgrade our internet/wi-fi infrastructure is scheduled to commence on Monday, May 15, 2017 and continue for four months until the end of August 2017. During this period some noise, dust and disruption can be expected and internet may be limited if not interrupted. We sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.

|Prior to checking in: The Antillean Florin is the legal currency on the Dutch side of the island although the USD $ and the Euro € are widely accepted. The Euro € is the legal currency on the French side of the island although the USD $ is widely accepted. There is a St. Maarten government required Timeshare Usage Tax ($50.00 per occupied unit, per week, i.e., an eight day stay up to two weeks will be $100.00) that applies to all reservations. Hotel guests are exempt of this fee; however, a rental room tax (20% of the rental rate) is required for all rental reservations. No pet policy is strictly enforced. Please be aware that all reservations that have an alternate guest checking in should make prior arrangements with the resort.|
When checking in: - Please note that every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for suite location and early arrivals; however, these requests are based on availability and occupancy. Unfortunately, the resort is unable to guarantee room location.
- The minimum age for checking in is 18.
- Pets are not permitted and strictly enforced with the exception of Service Animals.
- Hotel Guests and Exchange Reservation: A photo identification, credit card for $100 security deposit and a nightly $10.00 plus tax resort fee will be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit).
Resort Fee includes WiFi, oceanfront pool, beach & pool lounges, swim up bar, fully equipped fitness center, business center computer/internet and boarding pass printing.
- Owner Weeks and Member Points Booking: Photo identification and a form of payment will need to be provided at check-in. Resort fees* will be waived when staying on your owner week or member point reservations.
A resort fee of $10.00 plus tax per night will be added to the reservation if the owner or member of THE Club® is checking in on a rental reservation.
Please note that there is a $30 cash departure fee, payable at the airport; however, most commercial airlines include this fee in the price of your airline ticket. Please consult with the airline to determine if the $30 departure fee is included or not. This fee is subject to change without prior notice.
