Main Airport

Airport: Denver International Airport (succeeded Stapleton Airport)

Directions to Resort: Exit the airport and take EXIT 6B onto E-470 TOLLWAY N exit, toward Boulder/Ft. Collins. Merge onto E-470 N Tollway. Travel 17.5 miles and merge onto I-25 N/US-87 N via EXIT 47 toward Ft Collins. Travel north 15.5 miles to exit 243 CO-66 exit, take EXIT 243, turning left (west) toward Longmont/Lyons/Estes Park/Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park. Travel approx. 16 miles to the town of Lyons. CO-66 will dead end in Lyons at Hwy 36, take a right onto Hwy 36. Travel 22 miles on Hwy 36 into Estes Park. Take a left at the second signal onto Elkhorn Ave. Go through downtown Estes Park to the 3rd light and take a left onto Moraine Ave. You will need to be in the left lane. Travel ¼ mile til Moraine Ave curves to the right, you will need to take the left fork and proceed to the stop sign. Turn right onto Riverside and take an immediate left onto Audubon. Take the first left which will take you to the lodge. Due to the severe flooding experienced in Northern Colorado in September 2013, highways acessing Estes Park may be under repair. Please allow for closures and delays. Contact the lodge for current road conditions and closures.

Smart AlertTravel Alert: Hwy 36 from Lyons to Estes Park, CO Closure

Beginning the week of February 17th 2020 to February 2021, expect 15 minute delays and single lane closures on Hwy 36 from Lyons, CO up to Estes Park, CO. Hwy 36 from Lyons, CO up to Estes Park, CO will be closed 24/7 to all traffic from March 9, 2020 to April 13, 2020 in order for CDOT to permanently repair the road from the 2013 floods. Alternate routes will be Hwy 34 from Loveland, CO or Hwy 7 from Lyons, CO.

Smart AlertRocky Mountain National Park Phased Timed Entry and Reservations

Rocky Mountain National Park has instituted a phased timed entry and reservations are now required to enter the Park between the hours of 6am and 5pm. Go to nps.gov or recreation.gov for more information.

Please be advised that as a result of government mandated restrictions our resort is enforcing ‘social distancing’ safety measures and guidelines in all public/common areas and that resort amenity availability including pools, spas, business centers, fitness centers, playgrounds, restaurants may not be open and available for guest use as restricted by government mandate. In addition masks are required in all businesses in Estes Park.

The View restaurant, located inside Historic Crags Lodge, will be closed until 4/1/21. We are not accepting any new bookings for events now until 3/31/21, however, we are accepting event inquiries for 4/1/21 and beyond.

You Need To Know
Non-Smoking Resort
Prior to checking in:
- Front desk available 24 hours.
- All Guest Suites are Non-Smoking.
- Please note that every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for suite location and early arrivals; however, these requests are based on availability and occupancy. Unfortunately, the resort is unable to guarantee room location.
- Minimum age requirement for check-in is 21 years of age.
- Pets are not permitted and strictly enforced with the exception of Service Animals.
- The onsite pool operates seasonally and is closed between October 15 and May 25.
- Prior to check in please contact the property should you have any weather related inquires or transportation concerns to or from the property. During the winter months a 4WD vehicle will, at times, be required to reach the resort.
- The restaurant will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays as of October 1, 2018.
When checking in:
- Hotel Guests and Exchange Reservation: A photo identification, credit card for $200 security deposit and a daily $10.95 plus tax resort fee will be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit). Resort Fee includes: Wi-Fi, pool and spa, garden recreational activities, garden gas grills, morning lobby coffee, tea, cocoa, Laundromat, DVD rental and printing of boarding passes, maps, directions.
- Owner Weeks and Member Points Booking: Photo Identification and credit card for security deposit will need to be provided at check-in. Resort fees* will be waived when staying on your owner week or member point reservations. A resort fee of $10.95 plus tax per night will be added to the reservation if the owner or member of THE Club® is checking in on a rental reservation.
