Always arrange for a taxi with the hotel or restaurant you are visiting. Late dinner dining is typical – European style, although early birds will have a good choice too. Advise your credit card company that you are travelling to South Africa and to expect transactions from this location – some credit card companies may block your card after the first transaction as a protection from fraud if you do not let them know. The weather is similar to the south of France – mild winters (never below zero during the day) and hot summers (Feb – March).
