Directions
General
Driving: From Edinburgh take the M90 towards Perth, then the A9 to Ballinluig and the A827 through Aberfeldy to Kenmore. Drive through the village and the resort is on your left. From Glasgow take the M80/M9 past Stirling to Junction 10. Then take the A84 / A85 to Callander and Killin. From Killin take the A827 to Kenmore. Please note: If travelling on the A822 from Crieff, please do not follow your sat nav if it directs you to turn left in the village of Amulree (signed for Glen Quaich). This road can be difficult to pass in icy conditions and it is possible to get stranded. Instead continue to the A826 signed for Aberfeldy then pick up the A827 to Kenmore. Once in Kenmore, the resort is first on the left over the bridge.
Alternate Directions: There are taxis available at a cost of around £100 from Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports. There are trains from both Airports to Pitlochry - train timetables are available at www.nationalrail.co.uk. Taxis from Pitlochry are £30 to the resort.

Resort management reserves the right to refuse check in or terminate your stay were any guest(s) is displaying abusive or disruptive behaviour that could cause harm or a disturbance to other guests or staff including damage to the property or affecting the enjoyment of guests. In the event such action is taken, resort management will have no further liability or obligation to you and no refunds will be given. |
When checking in: For Hotel Guests only, the resort requires a valid credit card to charge a refundable security deposit of £100 per apartment upon check in. For Members of THE Club® the deposit is £0.01. Your deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay upon inspection of your apartment(s) however please note the funds will only appear in your account once processed by your financial institution. Due to increasing energy costs, all Guest check-ins at The Kenmore Club from 1 January 2023 forward will be charged a per night fee for the use of electricity based on the size of the accommodation. Guests will be charged during check-in. The estimated fee for electricity is currently: £10 per night for a 1-Bedroom apartment, £15 per night for a 2-Bedroom apartment and £16 per night for a 3-Bedroom apartment. Please note the estimated fees for electricity are subject to change. All Fixed-week Owners of The Kenmore Club who check-in from 1 January 2023 forward will be charged for their electricity use during their stay. Fully Wheelchair Accessible Accommodation
All areas within the accommodation and exterior are accessible to a wheelchair user or a guest with a severe reduced mobility. They have electric beds, adapted bathrooms, special high backed chairs and kitchen unit/work surfaces are lowered or can be pulled out for ease of access for wheelchair users. We offer 1 accommodation in total: 1 one-bedroom accommodation.

Accessible Outings and Excursions
Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery
Description Whisky tour and tasting, café and shop.
A personal guide can be arranged for visually impaired guests - pre-booking is required.
Written notes are available for the tour and there are also tasting notes available.
Accessed via a gentle slope from the disabled parking bays and over a bridge to our main entrance, our reception, shop, cafe, Whisky Lounge, and heritage exhibition are all on one level. This area features drop counters at our Whisky Bar and Reception/Shop area. Disabled toilet facilities are accessed via a lift down one floor.
The first four rooms of our production tour are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, but wheelchair users can re-join the tour to view our iconic Still House. Our atmospheric warehouse experience is also on ground floor level and totally wheelchair accessible.
Highland Safaris (including the Red Deer Centre)
Land Rover tours and Red Deer and Barn Owl Encounter.
All on one level except for Land Rover Tours (getting into vehicles etc.)
Café & Shop - Throughout the café & shop a main route of over 1 meter wide is in place throughout to allow wheel chair access and ease of access for people with reduced mobility. The flooring is oak floorboards and one flat level throughout. Seating is a mixture of chairs with arms and church benches. Dietary requirements ie Gluten free / Vegetarian etc are catered for in the café. Menus are available on the table and a menu blackboard (large print) is also displayed. Staff are available to explain or read out the menus.
Toilets - Are located in the lodge and there is a designated disable toilet and suitable for wheelchair access, door width 32in / 82cm. The toilet area has linoleum flooring and is a flat even surface throughout. There are two grab rails fitted by the toilet.
Red Deer Centre - Access to the Red Deer Centre is via a designated and defined path 48in / 122cm wide, flat surface and suitable for wheel chairs wheelchairs and ease of access for people with reduced mobility. The wide door of the Red Deer Centre allows access for all wheelchairs mobility scooters. The Red Deer Centre is one level, flat concrete floor.
Gold Panning - The area surrounding the Gold Panning facility is compact crushed tar, level surface and suitable for wheelchair access ease and people with reduced mobility.
Discovery Trail - The first 200 meters of the Discovery Trail is of compact gravel, only a slight gradient and suitable for wheelchairs and people with reduced mobility.
Play & Picnic areas - Both areas are grassed and predominately flat. Suitable for wheelchairs and people with reduced mobility.
Highland Safari Land Rovers (for safaris) - For our Land Rovers based safaris wheel chairs users and people with reduced mobility can be allocated to our Land Rover Discovery vehicle (this vehicle affords easier entrance /exit) and customers can be assisted into the vehicle by the Safari Ranger aided with a step stool. Customers can also purchase a private charter where they have exclusive hire of the Land Rover & Safari Ranger for their safari and their wheelchair can be loaded into the Land Rover, if required.
People who are Blind or Visual impaired.
Signage (activities/directions) - All signs are uniform in colour and large print to assist any persons visually impaired. The café / shop area is well lit with natural light and enhanced in specific areas by spotlights to assist any persons visually impaired. Cutlery and crockery in the café are of a different colour to the café table surfaces. Staff are always at hand to assist, explain or read out the menu, if required.
Assistance dogs - Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted, including on our Land Rover based safaris but only if booked as a private charter. Water bowls are available and dogs can be walked in the grounds area. Assistance dogs are not permitted in the Red Deer Centre.
The Highland Chocolatier
Chocolate making, café and shop. Nearly all on one level and a lift exists where there are a few stairs.
They have ramps, a lift, and wide doors but no lowered counters.
Audible fire alarms, audio guide for chocolate making experience.

All village restaurants and bars are wheelchair accessible.
